34th Annual fine arts & crafts showcase

Transylvania Community Arts Council sponsors this time-honored event on West Main Street in downtown Brevard, North Carolina, to showcase original fine art and craft by regional artists. Artists exhibit high-quality, handcrafted work in ceramics, jewelry, fiber, wood, glass, metal, painting and photography. Meet artists one-on-one, find unique gifts, and enjoy Heart of Brevard's Fourth of July festivities, including music, food vendors, children's activities and evening fireworks.

In 2006 we showcased and offered for sale jewelry from our gentlemen and gentlewomen's collections, gemstone bookmarks, and necklaces, bookmarks and home decorations from Sunflower Mountain Forge. We will also offered matted and unmatted prints of images seen at jlsullivanphoto.com and art.com. Prints offered included colorful underwater photography, interesting landscapes from around the world, including some inspiring sunrises here in Transylvania County, and beautiful floral images.

Brevard is conveniently located just 45 minutes from downtown Asheville and only 30 minutes southwest of the Asheville Airport, down Hwy 280. Join us in Brevard every year for a wonderful 4th of July celebration and stay a few days to enjoy the beauty of Transylvania County!
