THE GOSPEL STORY :: through the salvation bracelet

although salvation bracelets may vary in the number of "colors" and in small differences in explanation, they do agree in the message, the saving grace received only by faith in our LORD JESUS CHRIST.


1ST KNOT - birth

YELLOW - God loves us and desires a relationship with us.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
john 3:16

BLACK - sin is what separates us from God. we choose to disobey God.
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
 romans 3:23

RED - Jesus died on the cross and rose from the grave, paying the price and penalty for our sin. He provided the only way to God.
"But God demonstrates His love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
romans 5:8

CENTER KNOT - the decision we must make to accept Jesus or not.
"...if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
romans 10:9

WHITE - when we become a Christian, God cleanses us from all unrighteousness and washes us whiter than snow.
"But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin."
i john 3:5
"Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow."
isaiah 1:18

BLUE - one of our first acts of obedience is to publicly confess our faith through baptism.
"So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and there were added that day about three thousand souls."
acts 2:41

GREEN - we must now grow as a believer in all areas of our life, looking at Jesus as our example.
"But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen."
ii peter 3:18

3RD KNOT - death without fear. as a Christian we have an eternal home with God in heaven.
"He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God."
